Bills Add Two to Week 4 Injury Report
The Buffalo Bills’ injury list has grown as they prepare for their September 28 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
For much of the past week, only defensive tackle Ed Oliver (ankle) and linebacker Matt Milano (pectoral) were sidelined. Now, starting right tackle Spencer Brown and defensive end AJ Epenesa have also been added to the report.
Brown, dealing with a calf issue, did not practice on Wednesday. Head coach Sean McDermott had already cautioned that Brown would be limited. Brown later said the injury came up during the Bills’ September 18 win over Miami but expects to be ready for Week 4:
“First drive, it kind of got a little weird on me during our last game, but it should be good,” Brown said on One Bills Live.
Epenesa, who played 34% of defensive snaps in Week 3, appeared as a limited participant after picking up a pectoral problem. He began Wednesday’s session but was unable to finish.
Meanwhile, Oliver and Milano both remain out. Oliver has missed two straight games, while Milano has been sidelined since Week 2 against the Jets. McDermott noted both are “headed in the right direction.”
