The St. Louis Blues returned to the playoffs in 2024–25 for the first time since 2022, and Dylan Holloway was a major reason for their resurgence. In his debut season with St. Louis, Holloway delivered a breakout performance, establishing himself as a reliable top-six forward.
He set career highs across the board, finishing with 26 goals, 37 assists, 63 points, 165 hits, and a +21 rating in 77 games. This was a dramatic improvement from his time with the Edmonton Oilers, where he totaled just nine goals and 18 points over two seasons.
At only 23 years old and 166 games into his NHL career, Holloway’s ceiling remains high. Analysts believe he has the potential to develop into a 40-goal scorer, particularly if paired with playmaker Robert Thomas.
If he can continue improving his finishing ability while maintaining his physical style of play, Holloway could make the Blues an even tougher opponent moving forward. With more experience, expectations are that he will keep trending upward and possibly emerge as one of the league’s most dangerous young scorers.
