Louisville Cardinals news
The Louisville Cardinals are off to an impressive start this season, and head coach Jeff Brohm is making sure his team stays grounded while keeping the momentum alive.
Following Louisville’s third straight win, Brohm praised his players for their performances but also reminded them that the work is far from over.
“I’m proud of the way we’ve started,” Brohm said. “The effort, the execution, and the energy have been excellent. But this is just the beginning — we need to keep building, stay consistent, and never take anything for granted.”
Brohm emphasized balance, urging his team to enjoy their early success without being overwhelmed by the pressure of expectations.
“We want to appreciate the position we’re in right now,” he explained. “But at the same time, we’ve got to keep pushing. The message is clear: stay focused, stay humble, and continue to raise the bar.”
The Cardinals have leaned heavily on their strong running game and big-play defense in the opening stretch. Brohm acknowledged those strengths but also challenged his squad to polish the details as the season heads into tougher matchups.
“We’ve shown what we can do,” Brohm added. “Now it’s about sharpening every part of our game. Don’t be satisfied — and don’t be overwhelmed. Just keep getting better every week.”
With conference play looming, Brohm’s message to fans and players was simple but powerful:
“Go Cards.”
