DONE DEAL: Aaron Rodgers Signs with Carolina Panthers on Two-Year Extension Worth $17.5M Per Year
CHARLOTTE, NC – June 1, 2025 — In one of the most surprising moves of the NFL offseason, future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers has officially signed a two-year contract extension with the Carolina Panthers. The extension is worth $17.5 million annually, bringing the total value of Rodgers’ three-year commitment to the Panthers to $51 million, with $33.5 million of that guaranteed.
The Panthers confirmed the deal on Saturday morning, announcing that the 41-year-old quarterback will continue to lead their offense through the 2027 season. Rodgers originally joined Carolina in a short-term agreement earlier this year following his departure from the New York Jets, where his 2023 season was cut short due to an Achilles injury sustained in the season opener.
